Overview

Anachronia is an alternate-history simulation sandbox where you can intervene in a small living world and watch how it changes over time. Choose a region, introduce a plant, object, material, animal, or piece of knowledge, then let the simulation run. People live on their own, move between regions, use or lose resources, learn new things, and react to changing conditions. The game does not rely on a fixed scripted story: outcomes emerge from the current state of the world and the rules of the simulation. Track population and groups, follow the fate of your interventions, read the event chronicle, and open “Why?” to inspect the causal chain behind important events. Try different interventions and timelines: the same object can lead to very different outcomes under different conditions
