Overview
You are a landlord of the Backrooms. An empty plot, a little cash, and a single monster in hand — that's how it starts: a maze that people wander into every minute, and that not everyone wanders out of.
Build with a wide variety of rooms: yellow corridors and corners, junctions and empty office rooms, flickering hallways and wet carpet.
Guests arrive on their own and roam your corridors. The more rooms a visitor passes through, the more lost they get — and the more they're worth. There are five guest types in all, from the Newbie to the Tycoon, and each new one shows up only on a well-developed plot.
Once the maze grows large and the register grows heavy, go for a rebirth: your plot resets, but your income multiplier grows permanently and a new biome opens up.
