Overview
Hamsterio is an arcade survival game about a hamster in a real backyard. The scale is thrown off: grass is taller than the house and a beetle is the size of a dog.
The hamster attacks on its own — you move, dodge and collect food. Ants, pillbugs, wasps, snails, spiders, beetles, toads, moles and moths come in waves. Snacks level you up, and each level lets you pick an upgrade: a weapon or a charm. Upgrades change the hamster's look and the way you play.
The yard keeps its own schedule: afternoon, golden hour, dusk, then night with lamps and fireflies. While the day holds, there is time to get ready.
Crumbs are spent between runs on unlocking weapons and charms for good. Anything
you open stays in the upgrade roll forever. There are no permanent stat tracks — all power comes from levels inside a run.
