Overview
Merge Defense is a relaxing idle merge game with real strategy under the hood. Drop guns onto your board and merge matching ones to build ever-stronger turrets. A non-stop trickle of enemies is vaporised automatically, earning cores even while you are away. Summon tough waves on demand for big bonuses, and brace for a BOSS every fifth wave.
Collect power chips that merge just like your guns, then equip them to buff your whole arsenal with extra damage, crit, splash and bounty. Spend cores on permanent upgrades: an auto-merger for hands-free fusing, a faster forge, a bigger board, deadlier crits and more.
When you are ready, Ascend to reset your arsenal for permanent Command Stars that boost everything forever - your chips and upgrades are kept. Your arsenal carries across every session and survives every failed wave; only a voluntary Ascend ever resets it, and that is rewarded. Play for a few minutes or chase a deep run. It fits both.
