Number Match: Pairs and Tens

2K plays 4.2 out of 5

Overview

A calm number puzzle for people who enjoy logic, sudoku and unhurried brain games. The board is filled with digits from 1 to 9. Find two equal digits, or two digits that add up to 10, and remove them. A pair can sit next to each other horizontally, vertically or diagonally, across cells that have already been cleared, or at the seam of two rows: the last digit of one row and the first digit of the next. A fully cleared row disappears, and when the board is empty the stage is complete. Out of moves? Tap “+” to append copies of the remaining digits and keep playing. A pair found across empty cells scores more than an adjacent one, so look for long-range moves. Inside: hundreds of stages with a gentle difficulty curve, a daily challenge, hints, a day streak with a bonus for regular play, and automatic saving. Large digits and a clean light design make it comfortable on both phone and desktop. Great for adults and kids alike — a nice way to unwind and keep your memory sharp.

Game instructions

1. Tap a digit, then a second one: if they are equal or add up to 10, both disappear. 2. Look for pairs horizontally, vertically and diagonally, and across cells that are already cleared. 3. Check the seam of the rows: the last digit of a row and the first digit of the next row also form a pair. 4. When a whole row is cleared, it disappears and the board gets shorter. 5. No moves left? Tap “+” to append copies of the remaining digits. The number of taps per stage is limited. 6. Stuck? Tap the bulb — a hint highlights a matching pair. 7. Remove every digit from the board to complete the stage and earn coins.
