Overview

Tridevyatie is a dark Slavic fairy tale where every fight is fought on a match-3 board. Each match is a sword blow, a wall of shields, healing herbs or a handful of gold — and the enemy shows its next move in advance. The run leads through three acts: the Dark Wood, the Rotten Mires and Koschei's Realm. You pick the road — battle, shop, rest, encounter or treasure; there is no way back. Every act ends with a boss, and the road ends at Koschei the Deathless: his death is in a needle, the needle in an egg — while the shells hold, he cannot die. Three heroes with their own powers, 45 artifacts and 6 potions, 17 foes and 23 fairy-tale encounters. Large matches create runes that strike a whole area; cascades set artifacts off. Baba Yaga walks you through the first fight — the tutorial is short and skippable. Defeat is not the end: sparks earned in a run unlock new heroes and permanent upgrades. Each victory opens a new level of Koschei's curses — meaner foes, richer rewards.

Game instructions

One swap per turn. Tap a tile and then a neighbour, or drag a tile towards one: three or more in a row is a match. Mouse and touch work the same way. Sword — 2 damage to the enemy, shield — 2 block, spark — ability charge, herb — healing, coin — gold. Rot and Koschei's needle give nothing: clear them off the board with a match like anything else. Below the enemy's name is its intent for the next turn: an attack with a damage number, a defence or a buff. Block lasts until your next turn — bank shields against the hit. When the charge bar is full, the ability button under the board lights up. Potions are used with a button right in battle; artifacts work on their own while they sit in your bag. On the map, tap an available node to move on. The "?" button in the corner of a battle opens the help, and the menu has the same under "How to play".
