Overview

"The Nineties: Survival Simulator" is a survival sim set in 1990s Russia. You arrive with no money, no documents, and no place to live — and must survive a harsh transitional economy from scratch. Find your first job through the newspaper, buy food at the bazaar, and collect the documents and housing you need. Build your own PC piece by piece — CPU, RAM, hard drive, modem — and discover a world of pay-by-the-hour internet, software downloads, and programming. Balance earning money with staying alive: hunger rises every hour, so there's no time to relax. Raise your IQ, land your dream job, and even write your own programs — or viruses — for extra income. It's nostalgia, challenge, and a journey from poverty to success. Perfect for anyone who remembers the 90s, or anyone curious what it was really like.

Controls are simple: everything is done by clicking buttons on screen. Start at the Metro — try to beg for a token or buy one for 3 rubles. Go to the Bazaar — buy food to fight hunger, and check the newspaper for jobs. Get a job — pick a vacancy with no extra requirements and start earning. Watch your hunger — it rises every hour, so buy food regularly. Save up for housing and documents — they unlock better-paying jobs. Visit the Electronics Shop to buy PC parts and assemble your computer. Connect to the internet with prepaid cards, install apps, and write programs to earn more. Time passes automatically — hunger rises and wages are paid every day. Keep your balance in check, or it's game over.
